Served as Chief Operating Officer for Alabama based bookstore retailer Books-A-Million. Lew knows how to create jobs, how to motivate people, how to lead a team, and how to get things done.
As proud as Lew is for helping take an Alabama company “public” and help hire thousands of employees, he is even more proud of the thousands of lives he and his team have impacted at King’s Home. Lew knows firsthand people don’t want a handout, they want a helping hand up.
As a former church youth director and current volunteer who teaches leadership to high school sophomores across Alabama, Lew understands our children have one thing in common: they want MEANINGFUL VALUES.
Lew grew up working in his family small grocery store in Roanoke, Alabama. He will be a cheerleader for small businesses.
If you have read or heard Lew’s story, you know why he believes that our God is a miracle worker. At the age of 15, Lew was the victim of a violent crime, if not for divine intervention, he would have died. He was kidnapped, shot, stabbed, and then thrown down a well, and left for dead. From that experience, Lew learned to never give up and to believe that through God, all things are possible.
Follow Lew and see how he will take action to give Alabama the new leadership and new energy it deserves.
